Crispy Parmesan Bites featuring Edamame



Crispy Parmesan Edamame Bites


  • 12 ounces shelled edamame seeds soaked 30 minutes in
  • Messina Hof Orange Muscat
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup high quality grated parmesan cheese


  1. Put shelled edamame seeds in a bowl and cover with Orange Muscat
  2. Let soak for 30 minutes
  3. In a pot of boiling salted water blanch the edamame seeds for 3-4 minutes
  4. Rinse under cool water
  5. Spread the seeds in a bake proof pan
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on the parmesan cheese
  7. Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for about 15 minutes until the parmesan is crisp and golden brown
  8. Serve warm and enjoy with a glass of your favorite Messina Hof wine
