Prepared savory style with herbs, grains, or sautéed vegetables, it complements red wines. Prepared with sweet or hot spices like curry, cinnamon or ginger with grains or sautéed vegetables or fruits, it complements white wines. When baking the stuffed squash, add ¼” of the wine to be served with the dish into the bottom of the baking dish. Cover the pan with foil and bake.
