“Mike and I moved to College Station and built a home in 2011. Our new home includes a large, covered back porch and an additional outdoor kitchen area. We made the indoor living area opened specifically for entertaining and/or visiting with guests.
Mike, as a Master Gardener, put in a large vegetable garden and fruit orchard as well. We love to watch the Aggie football games so we have elected to tailgate at our home with friends and family instead of watching the games at Kyle Field. We usually select a theme for the food and then everyone invited contributes something of their choice.
We use fresh vegetables and fruits from our garden (whatever is available at the time) in the menu selections we provide. The food is usually served buffet style so guests can eat whenever they want to, and as often as they want! We entertain throughout the year as well and we thoroughly enjoy it. Our friends keep coming back so we believe they enjoy it too!”
Mike commands his outdoor kitchen which is picturesquely placed in his master gardener’s farm. Chateau V produces an amazing array of fruits, vegetables and nuts. In addition, Mike is also a beekeeper and produces honey.
Wanda works in her spacious open concept kitchen to process all of the Chateau V products and create tailgate farm to table dishes.
