Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

Sweet potato casserole

  • 2 lbs   fresh yams
  • ½ cup   butter
  • ½ cup   toasted pecans
  • tsp  ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup   brown sugar
  • 1/3 bag   small marshmallows
  • ¼ cup   Messina Hof Angel Riesling
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Roast the yams till soft at 350F for 1 ½ hours
  • Cool then peel and dice
  • Mix all the ingredients together
  • Pour into an oven proof pan
  • Bake covered at 325F 30-45 minutes
