- Prepared savory style with herbs, grains or sautéed vegetables, it complements red wines.
- Prepared with sweet or hot spices like curry, cinnamon or ginger with grains or sautéed vegetables or fruits, it complements white wines.
- When baking the stuffed squash, add ¼” of the wine to be served with the dish into the bottom of the baking dish. Cover the pan with foil and bake. The steam will add a hint of the wine flavor to the dish.
